Internet Bidding

Use the Internet with IAA for two ways to bid -- Pre-bidding and LIVE Internet bidding.

Pre-bidding consists of placing bids on vehicles prior to the live physical auction. To pre-bid, simply enter a starting Bid Amount and a Maximum Bid Amount. The computer will automatically raise your bid to the point where you are the high bidder, or bidding exceeds your Maximum Bid Amount. If you are the high Internet bidder when pre-bidding closes, your bid will be represented by proxy at the live auction until you are the high bidder and the vehicle is awarded to you, or local bidding exceeds your Maximum Bid Amount.

Live Auction Internet bidding is available through I-bid LIVE. I-bid LIVE enables you to join a LIVE auction through any Internet connection and bid in real time along with the LIVE local bidders. A simple software download enables you to connect to any LIVE auction identified with the I-bid LIVE logo .

To bid in real time, registered buyers must log in to the IAA Auction Center and click on an I-bid LIVE icon just before or during a LIVE auction. Once connected, the Bidder's Screen will provide all of the information needed to bid in real time along with the LIVE local auction. With I-bid LIVE, you never have to miss a buying opportunity again!
